Thread Starter | to continue on with the Brickwall thread, has anyone tried......
ok to continue with the crazy birckwall thread has anyone tried running your tracks out into some outboard insert your fav comp and EQ here and then using the HARDWARE Waves L2 (analog to analog) as brickwall before going back in to your converter? I know there are mixed opinions on the L2 and hardware unit, but does does anyone do this and with what results? Pleasing not Pleasing? Currently I run my Rosetta into the red for loudness and it is a fine line to ride. It takes me a good ten minutes to dial in the levels right on my comp and EQ to get the track so that it does not distort. Wondering if it would be worth it to get a hardware L2 to save me a little time and piece of mind. I will not be dropping the thresh on the L2 and the ceiling will be set at -.1.
