Choices Choices.. Which API and..NEVE/Dangerous audio

Need some help deciding..

Preamps
API 3124+ 4 channel mic pre, or 2 of the 512C's racked in a 'lunchbox'? Having 4 channels for the same amount is nice, but do they 512C's sound that much better?

OR

Vintech 473?

Also,,

Neve 8816 or Dangerous 2 Bus summing mixer??

Thanks
Andre

For the preamps, what will you be using these pres on? The API 3124 and Vintech 473 are pretty different, recommending one over the other wouldn't make sense unless it was put into some context.
