Sample Rate trouble

Hey team,
So here's my problem (I searched, couldn't find my exact problem):
I'm mixing a PT session that is in 44.1 (according to the session window). When I set my clock to 44.1, it plays back slow. When I set it to 48, it plays back at regular speed. When I export a mix at 44.1, it is slow, and when I export that mix at 48, it plays back even slower. Any advice?

PS: I didn't track this, so I don't know exactly what is going on. Tracking engineer is no help.

Try importing session data from the "slow" 44.1 session into a new mix session that is 48k. In the import session dialog box change the Source Sample Rate to 48k.

Just an idea, may work or may not, but will not cause any harm if it doesn't.

Processing audio files now. So it looks like it was tracked with the converters set to 48 while the session was in 44.1....thats my guess at least. I bet thats a common problem.

Thanks!
