Airwindows Sable (EQ) and DeRez (BITCRUSHER) release!

Okay, it's been a lot of work, but this is a good night

Airwindows Audio Unit Plugins is the place!

Firstly, due to popular demand and good sense, the EQ gets two boost bands and the gain trim at the bottom. It's true that you should level-match dry and EQed sound to see if it's really the EQ you like- and this EQ, you will like. It really came out useful, in a musical sense.

All of this has high-res files available at MediaFire- go to the airwindows page and scroll to the bottom to get to the Mediafire links, the files are all up and available. I'm linking to mp3s for quick-listenability and because you can even tell how good the plugs are over mp3s (otherwise, why pay $60?)

This is Sable on a full mix, sweeping the controls around aggressively- first an intense boost, then bringing down the high cut with its dirty sound, and lastly bringing up the low cut.

This is Sable being used more musically, and also showing off its real quality- throwing a radical, intense 15K boost on a choir vocal. There's just a touch of high cut in there as well to soften it, and a bit of low fullness added with the other boost and trapped in with the low cut. Check this out.

Lastly, Sable on distorted guitars- bringing up the pick attack, filling out the low-mid 'meat' and trapping in both the extreme highs and the extreme lows just a bit. Don't try to trap the highs in too much or it'll just get raspy- this is barely down from wide open unrestricted highs. Here's a Sable setting that is flat-out impossible to do on normal digital EQ at any price.

And now, the big surprise I was hinting at here and there- Airwindows releases a BITCRUSHER. But what sort of bitcrusher? Easy- an ANALOG bitcrusher.

wuh?

Listen to this. http://www.airwindows.com/m/Superstar-DeRez.mp3

DeRez is special- I don't think anybody has anything like this at any price (making it typical Airwindows arrogance and extremism ). Here's the thing- i am skeptical of how useful bitcrushers really are when you can just step them through things like 8 bits, 4 bits or whatever. What if you want three and a half bits? Well, NOW YOU CAN. Or 823 and a half hertz sample rate. Listen for yourself, you can plainly hear that it's going to low sample rates, to low bit depths, continuously. You can tune levels of bit crush to bring up an exact amount of bit-roar, by ear, or have it creep up on people. You can tune the sample-rate-clash to the song, or change its pitch with automation, or sweep it around.

But you probably didn't read that, because either you like bitcrusher effects or not- and if you don't, you're not interested- and if you do, you're probably at Kagi buying it from the instant you heard it sweep continuously down to 30hz, or maybe from when you heard it sweep continuously down to about 2 bits...

Everything's all live and ready to listen to, read about, buy etc. and I've tested the Kagi store to make sure the plugins are downloading properly. Each one is $60 in US dollars. Ask me anything, enjoy, hope you like the new toys as much as I do
