High Quality Record Player for Playback

Greetings Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help out with some advice. I was looking into buying the Audio Technica ATPL120 Turntable for HiFi record playback. I was curious if anyone has had any experience with this unit, also if anyone could could make a recommendation in terms of a cartridge/stylus. Is the one that comes with the ATPL120 good, or would you recommend purchasing a higher quality cartridge/stylus, if so what one would you recommend? Thanks for your time!

Cheers!

I have the Audio-Technica AT440ML/OCC (about $130) cartridge which was a huge step up from Grado Gold (about $50) or whatever it was called... I don't hear any inner groove distortion until the last half inch of the record with the AT so I am really satisfied with it considering its price. For you information, I have in installed on a Pro-ject 2.0 turntable. Regards
