Trident Trimix question ?

Hello,

My friend just gave me trident trimix 16 channels version in pretty good but dissasembled condition.
It looks really sweet! not all the channels are there, and it's missing some buss modules as well. But it's nicely built and sweet looking Ill have about 13-14 channels and 3 busses master/talkback module which is a good start for my poor ass.
It doesn't have the power supply which I am having it rebuilt and putting back the board together. Also, it has the mods on the master bus for more headroom. I have looked inside the board, and my noob electronic eyes could tell that it's a nicely built module with all the good stuff inside. Just delicious looking.
I havent found any info on this board or any schematics. If anyone got some info that would be great ?

My friend that owned the board before me said that he spoke to John Oram on the phone and he was the nicest guy ever. He even offered to stop by my friend's place when he comes to NYC area and re-build the board together with him. I have looked up Oram's name on GS forum and seen some dirt behind. Still, couldn't figure out what was really going on with the guy and all the turmoil there was. Can anyone point me to the article or the story ? I am really curious to find out why he is hated in the world of recording technicians.

If anyone using this board or even channel strip, let me know your experience.
My goal is to powerup the board and potentially just use pre's and EQ just for the "sound" if not use the mutant 3 busses to mixdown the track. Those wooden edges on trimix gave me an errection dfegad really sweet piece of electronics...

I dont really have anything more in my analog arsenal (LA610, Pacifica and couple of other stuff) so I will definitely use those pre's for different applications.
