Convertor Set up advice! help needed
hi guys,

I need guidance on setting up my ADC

Just to give you the background info:
I am upgrading the conversion sid eof my chain. it is currently 'roland mmp-2 into creative audigy platinum pro.'
Ive been mulling over converters to buy and have come to the decision to get a black lion sparrow AD/C. It was either this or a mytek 2 channel 96. The black sparrow will end up cheaper for me and i only need 1 channel and i believe they are similar quality.

Will i need a new soundcard aswel? or will going black sparrow spdif into spdif of the audigy bypass the audigy converers? as the sparrow doesnt do usb or firewire. I need help getting this part of the chain thought out and set up. it might not be such a deal for me if i have to buy a new soundcard. I wouldnt know where to start.

Please help.

Going S/PDIF into your soundcard will bypass the converters in your soundcard.

So id only be hearing the Black Sparrow and wouldnt need a new soundcard? Sweeet!!!! Thanks mate.

I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my soundcard?
