Solid power conditioners for home / project studios?

I have a modest home studio. good sized rack filled with comps, eq's, FX boxes etc..... I'm looking for a decent power conditioner. Are the Furman boxes reliable? I've heard Equitech is also exceptionally good.

this question comes up kind of regularly. you'll see some good advice, bad advice, and conflicting advice. that's all i know for sure.

i did get a furman balanced power transformer, the it1230, which puts a nice isolation transformer between the studio and the world. works fine on all of my gear. stable clean power unaffected by the outside world.

We use the Furman 1220, a 20A balanced system for the studio, but i bought that years ago before i knew about Equitech. Atlas sells the Equitech line.

Also use a Tripp Lite 30A UPS, for brown out, lightning and power outage protection.

(the LCR2400 is a cheaper option that i've seen work well for brownouts/surges only)
