Question Which well-known male vocalists have used these mics?

Let's try this a slightly different way...

I would like to know the names of some well-known male artists/bands that you know for a fact have released records using any the following mics for lead vocals:

1. Peluso 2247 (please state which model - SE, LE, short body)
2. Charter Oak SA538 (not the 538B)
3. Telefunken AK47
4. Pearlman TM-1 (I know that Dave has links on his site...)
5. Wunder CM7-GT (M7, K47)
6. sE Gemini II

"Why?" you ask. Because I want to hear some of these mics after everything has been done. Mixing, mastering, CD replication etc. I want to go buy the CD and listen to it, knowing what mic the singer used. Plus it will be really interesting to see how many of the tunes with these mics actually see the light of day...

I'm not interested in your opinions on which mic is the best, just want to know who you know has used them.

Thanks!

jb

Alicia Keys bought the AK47 for her studio, referenced from an EQ magazine article.

Oops! Just saw the "male vocal" part of it.

I believe Snoop Dogg and Kenny Rogers have been using a SE Gemini on their duet My Medicine.
It's been recorded at the Wisseloord studio's in Holland.

#1 - I'm not sure who knows what here about who used what mic, unless of course they did or assisted the sessions.

#2 I'd hazard a guess that most well known singers would be using the real deals -- you know the REAL U47s, C12, 251s. Why use a budget clone? I mean as good as they may be. And if they did, why advertise that fact, unless you're doing an ad?

As for #1 - Yup - that's what I'm looking for. I was thinking that Gearslutz might afford some insight on that front. Maybe not though. Maybe we're just a bunch of posers.... :-)

Re: #2, I should redefine "well-known." I'm not talking about world famous rock stars - I'm talking about indies and above - those who have a label and some distribution and some name recognition so that I can buy their CD's. I don't want to waste time on no name bands who aren't any good, I need to hear established talent. A bunch of Gearslutz recording themselves doing shootouts is not what I'm after... (I include myself in this category since I've done it lots of times)
