| Gear addict | What kind of light bulb do you use for that soft glow in your track lighting? Ours seem kind of harsh. Thoughts?????

| Lives for gear | If you don't have dimmers then I have used low watt bulbs and higher watt in the same track depending on where the MOST light is required. Say a 25 watt and a 75 watt. |

| dimmers matter, and from there it's all about where you point the lights. don't angle them down to where you can see the bare bulb, angle them towards the wall, or even back up to the ceiling. try to avoid reflections off of glass, this creates hot spots that the eye doesn't like. it also helps tremendously if you're illuminating surfaces that are not white or glare-y. soft colors, wood, whatever... make it vibey. gregoire del ubk .

| Full spectrum lights feel much more natural and less harsh to me than standard incandescents or fluorescents. |
