Much difference??
Need for drum overhead/acoustic and electric guitar miking...
Can't decide!!

I think I would go with the KSM 141's. They are cardioid/omni and come in matched pairs.

The 141's are pretty nice. Very well made rugged class A mic.

I like the KSM141 just fine for overheads and acoustic stuff. The Beyer MC930 is another one to consider.

KSM 141 is a pretty badass mic for the money. The cardiod/omni thing is cool.

An 81 is good, but the KSM is better.
