GTR Amp in Control Room...

...cabinet in studio.
I simply run a long thick-gauge cable from the amp to the speakers.
Anyone doing anything fancier?

I've seen a few studios with a panel in both the CR and recording space with dual banana plugs on each end and a fat cable pair tying the two together.

i put the head in the c.r. and run a long spkr cable out to the cab.

Yup, I've done this too. Only because the drums are in the c.r.

We built in 3 heavy duty speaker cable tie lines from all patchbays to all mic matrix / junction boxes, so we can put several heads & cabs pertty much anywhere in the building we like..

CR - live area is easy for us
