More free stuff....let's do it again!

OK, giving away some things I didn't need yesterday was fun, and I even made a couple new friends in the process.

There's a Grace 101 sitting here collecting dust.

Need it?

It goes free to the first person who PMs me. All I ask of the winner in return is that you post in this thread and gift something you don't need to someone else...

GO!

PS: Thanks to olivia_nb for the inspiration...

Hi Dylan,

I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination.

Here's the thing: giving is its own reward.

Really.

This is brilliant! I wish I had thought of it when I had something left to give away. Highly conscious act.

Hello all,

I am the very fortunate recipient of the Grace 101 preamp.

So heres how I'm gonna work it:

Since I only use "character" preamps, I've never had the opportunity to try a "clean" design properly. I plan on trying it out quickly to see if I'm justified in keeping it. If it's not for me, I will offer it back into GearSlutzLand.

And if I love it and can't live without it, I assure you all that I will return the gesture in kind with a nice piece of gear.

What an awesome idea. I'm really into random acts of kindness it's cool to see someone just go for it on the internet.

This reminds me of a thread on a band's forum where I tried to give away part of my record collection. The response here is much nicer, on there I had people accusing me of being a stalker, trying to do a scam etc. They just couldn't believe someone would give away something they could be selling.

Good for you!!

Actually, I could use a drum key! I'm a fairly new member of the live sound community, and I really should have one of these...

I'll PM you.

In the other thread similar to this, I already offered a Gameport to MIDI cable, but I haven't had any takers yet. Putting this out there again. I also have an older pair of Sony MDR-V250 headphones. The headband's cracked in several places and I've taped them up, and the inline volume control is a bit finicky (scratchy and channel-imbalanced at some points on the dial's travel). I don't use them anymore, but they sound pretty decent. PM me, folks!

Cynics!

The belief that everyone always has a hidden agenda is false. Sometimes we just give.

Good on you for trying.

Ok, I'll play (EDIT: THIS HAS FINISHED)

I'll give away a Digidesign DINR LE software ilok asset, I'll pay the transfer, Sweetwater values it at $495 USD on sale price, although most people got it as part of an upgrade incentive Digi put out a while back, typically sells on gearslutz for about $100 incl.

Digidesign DINR LE | Sweetwater.com

I'm not giving it away to the first person, I'll draw one randomly out of pms in the first 24 hours, limit one pm per person.

good luck!
