doesn't the purple BIZ have an output level control??
the 2 channel ATTY seems like it would be a waste

i've got a racked pair of 312's and they are suuuuper hot on kick and snare, but sound GREAT. i already have an atty though

i hope that wasn't a negative post, it was actually an attempt at positivity. because i know how sad it is to not be able to use hot pre's on drums

Any of those anime DVD's include Cowboy Bebop?

That's not just the best anime, but one of my favorite series ever.

i wish! then i would have it in my collection too!! i know i've got a complete boxset of peacemaker kurogane, some singles of gatchaman, gilgamesh, azumanga daioh, ghost stories and a bunch of other lesser known series. maybe i can take some pix and you guys can just pick what you want. i'm sure there's a bunch of randomness in there.

It's funny cos I never win anything and I was thinking it must be a cold day in hell. Waddaya know, it's snowing in houston of all places!!!

Against88, I really don't think the Atty will be wasted on a biz. Look where I have the input set. I can never turn it up higher! Sometimes I can't even use the dual switch cos it's so much gain. Not to mention all those blank slots waiting to get filled. Surely there is some api in my future

I haven't kept up with the newer stuff but I really dig Captain Harlock, Arislan, Urusei Yatsura, and a lot of others.

It pleases me to know that you will be putting the Otari to good use. I haven't used it for several years and it was just taking up space. My old tape machine felt like a mill stone because I no longer wanted it but couldn't bear the thought of offing it to a stranger. I am glad that you have taken it on and will exercising the machinery. There were occasions that I ran it so hot that I thought I was going to bend the VU meter needles and it sounded great-- you can never do that with digital recording.

morning bump...

That must've been some shipping bill for the Otari to go 3500+ miles south(AK to CA?): I hope the courier has as 'giving' mentality as this thread!

Congrats to pan60 - you will be very happy., I'm sure of it!!!

another bump for the best thread on this site.
