Good morning all!

Supposed to be a very nice 20 degrees celcius here today. Going to get some yard work done.

I have a feeling we'll see 20000 post by the end of the weekend. Should be exciting!

666 wasn't the one to get excited about

It's interpreted to mean the beginning of an age, or cycle, a cycle that has a definitive end point.
Hence people referring to it as the beginning of the end, but it has nothing to do with the 'devil'.

777 is the number that marks the ending of that cycle, so if you're going to get angsty about a number, make it that one

I just checked the CherryTree account and yet another donation has been made! (You know who you are, my friend... )

This means the next person who contributes to Phelicity's fund will win Cheu's MusikMesse 2010 Gadget Package.

And Cheu, what a good thing you've done here. Thank you so much.

Howdy sluts! Currently I'm enjoying a beautiful (if sleep deprived) day riding shotgun in the van en route to Springfield Illinois. Rock and roll. Just found out that one of my favorite bassists, djordje stepovic, is going to be in Nashville for a couple days off from his tour, and I'm getting at least one lesson while he's here!

(insert smilies here. iPhone no like smilies)
be well.

Tried out the new wireless guitar system today. Quite an old piece of gear, but it still works great! I tried it out on my roomates digital piano in my apartment today, after running the piano through a guitar multi effects pedal. Lots of fun!

Now I just need an actual guitar to use with it...haha!

Logic 8 academic....got it for $150 at my campus bookstore, quite a deal! I'll upgrade to 9 when I get a new computer.

I also use Reason 4 and Record. Reason 4 is what I do most of my composing on, I love the synths!

Thanks Cheu!
It's a pleasure to help out a fellow Aussie in his family's time of need. Your post motivated me to donate again to the Phelicity fund.
Now here's the thing - I don't want to seem ungrateful but I don't really need the preamp, and it would just gather dust at my place as well. I could gift it on to a friend, but I think it should really go to someone else who donated to the fund, perhaps in hope of winning the pre.
So, can I ask any other slutz who donated to the Phelicity fund, perhaps as a result of Cheu's post, or who would like to get their hands on the presonus blue tubepre, to PM me, Cheu, or RBZ and we'll try to find a good home for this cool device...

With love from the Wrench Ranch

Wait for 10, it's not really worth it unless you're an avid mainstage user. As always, YMMV.

Glad the wireless works out!

What a busy day!

Had a great but very busy day.

Woke up, started some laundry and then my daughter, my girlfriend and I went out to a book store. While I went to get a hair cut they went to a cupcake shop. After that we went clothes shopping as a belated easter bunny present to my daughter. Got her some wonderful spring and summer outfits. Then when we came home and had a late lunch, and did a bunch of yard work while my daughter rode her bike.

At one point she yells to me "Help Daddy! The police are chasing me!". I respond with a "Why? What did you do?".

"Nothing, they think I'm someone else."

I say, "If you didn't do anything, then stop running away from them!"

"I'm not! I'm trying to bicycle away from them but they are way too fast!"

After the yard work is done, we came inside and started cleaning her room, until it was time to make supper. Once we were done supper, we finnished cleaning and sorting her stuff and put away her new clothes. So we baked some cookies for a bedtime snack, and got ready for bed. Now she's asleep.

A big day for a soon to be 5 year old. When I pointed out that we didn't watch any TV. She got excited, and said "Yeah! That's really good."

The weather didn't let us down either. Hope it keeps this up until fall. Although I'd love a good strong down pour soon.

I hope everyone had as a wonderful day as I had!
