Yeah, I didn't quite know how to either in the beginning. After a while you just lay back and enjoy

I had spent over a year working my a** off to save up for the trip. I ended up having a stress related facial paralysis 2 months before going. I went to a very talented acupuncturer, and 3 weeks before departure I was alright again.

Imagine how grateful I felt for that. And for the fact that I had wished and wished that this trip would be reality, and before I knew it was!

7 weeks in the Pacific - these two pictures were taken in May this year in the Solomon Islands. I can't tell you how mazing it was!

All you have to do is wish (and work for it). That goes for anything in life. There's a little secret to it, though. Tell me if you too know what it is...

Running out of gear to give... how about the shirt off my back?

One large Sigur Ros tshirt, yellow, has the cover of Takk on it.

I only wore it for five minutes, because it's a really tight Large, so it will be great for someone that's in shape, or really skinny, or emo.

First person to PM me will get a free alexP remix of one of their tracks, no strings attached, except a credit. I have a studio full of analogue synths, and outboard, and have nothing to do for the rest of the week. Check out my myspace, and if that dark analogue vibe is up your alley, let me know! Can do anything from ambient stuff, through to full on trance and whatnot.... This is all I can offer atm, but really want to feel a part of this thread!

I think that's a fantastic offer! Welcome to the thread alexP! I hope we'll see more 'gifts' like that in the future; I know I'll be offering something in that league once I'm up and running again

Everything is free now,
That's what they say.
Everything I ever done,
Gonna give it away.
Someone hit the big score.
They figured it out,
That we're gonna do it anyway,
Even if it doesn't pay.

I can get a tip jar,
Gas up the car,
And try to make a little change
Down at the bar.

Or I can get a straight job,
I've done it before.
I never minded working hard,
It's who I'm working for.

(Chorus)

Every day I wake up,
Hummin' a song.
But I don't need to run around,
I just stay home.

And sing a little love song,
My love, to myself.
If there's something that you want to hear,
You can sing it yourself.

'Cause everything is free now,
That's what I said.
No one's got to listen to
The words in my head.
Someone hit the big score,
And I figured it out,
That I'm gonna do it anyway,
Even if doesn't pay.

The last few days have been amazing. It would take me too long to tell you all why i'm about to say this but:

My sincere gratitude goes out to all you that contribute to this thread and are spreading love throughout this world. Were all connected. Our positive energy reaches farther than our tiny brains can even fathom. Its lighting up the dark alleys of negativity.

Greetings from the Finnish tractorclub!

I talked with the chairman of the club today. He was very pleased to hear about your intrest on seeing the pictures of the old tractors the club has restored. They had also told they like the free stuff -thread at their forum.

They wanted me to make it to a permanent subsection under "marketplace section".

The love this thread started is indeed spreading.

Karma, kinda strange, isn't it?

So, my wife and I have talked about how cool it would be to have a couple nice bicycles so we could ride together. I really like the idea because that is the only kind of exercise that doesn't bore me to death. Unfortunately the finances have kept us from buying any.

So, the other night I was driving around in my car listening to mixes around midnight. I took the usual route that I always do when listening to mixes in the car. As I'm driving, I look to my left and see two bikes out by someones mailbox. It looked like they had signs hanging on them, so I back up and shine my headlights on them. The signs read "FREE". "What? Free bikes?!?! Holy shite!", I thought to myself. Sure enough, they were free, so I made two trips to bring the 'his' and 'hers' bikes home. The 'his' bike was a Trek mountian/street hybrid in perfect shape, and the 'hers', a Mongoose mountian/street hybrid in great shape. Perfect! I couldn't believe it.

Being the type of person that likes to know what kind of deal he got, I looked up the prices on these bikes if they were new. Low and behold, they equaled almost the exact price of my Digi 001 when I bought it new, which I gave away on this thread. I think I paid $10 more for the Digi than the combined price of these bikes new. If that isn't instant karma....

Just thought I would share that story. Coincidence? Maybe, but somehow I doubt it.

That it is! And it's only just begun. What you give out comes back to you 10-fold!
Enjoy your bike-riding; it's a wonderful free feeling!

I don't know if the rule is you've gotta get something in order for you to give something away, but I figured I should just donate to the kind spirits that are going on in this thread. I've got a Presonus Bluetube dual channel pre that just sits around in my closet. If anybody could use it, let me know

Haha, I used all of the positive smilies.

Edit: I used all of them before I realized there was a 6 smiley limit. LAME

First time I ever win anything... So cool. I think this will improve my ability to track vocals. And I think I have some business with Bowie too.

AWESOME!! Congrats! JoaT, you are going to be DOUBLE gifted, because, out of appreciation for the work you're doing for me, I am going to send you some premium vintage tubes for your new tube preamp! I think Telefunkens would sound nice in there... you'll have your pick though.

Bigwig1987, you're awesome for doing that. JoaT is a really great guy and totally deserves the Presonus.
