OOPS almost forgot!
That's going to kick ass!
Thx again for the little blondie BTW. I know it's been forever but yesterday was the first day in months that I was able to take the day off and really spend several hours recording. I was absolutely LOVING what I was getting from that mic.

And our two-week run of English weather here in the American Midwest has finally come to an end, too. Woohoo!

Can you make it 3.14159 watts? It could be the Little Pi Amp... BudgetMC had a good idea too, it could be called the Prime Number Amp?
I'm a huge fan of these low watt amps. In addition to the Tiny Terror I got an Epiphone Valve Jr which a grip of mods are out there for it. Can't wait to hear your creation in the hands of some rad guitarist! Have you seen the zvex 1 watt amp? It's like the size of a pedal... wild stuff.

Anyway, like BOWIE, I need to take a day off and put the little blondie through it's paces. There's some acoustic guitar stuff I have been intending to record for ages now, it's about time!

p.s. Sahiaman, I'll have some music to share with you soon, I hope.

Wow that's nice! What's the area around Stanford like? Ever been? I might head over there in a few years to do a masters in Acoustics or something similar.

weather has been surreal in london. ie, heatwave, rain, very sunny, cloudy, hot, chilly, windy, calm, more rain... and that's just today! ha!!!

doing a project in two days - short film - so going slightly mad at the very rushed pace of this endeavor.

anyone for a wootie?

Great school...both my father and grandfather attended Stanford.

If you come out to the Bay Area you'll find yourself in close proximity to quite a few natural wonders.

There really is nothing like spending an afternoon in a redwood forest. Wow.

No doubt! I lived in San Francisco for two years...after a little while, I had the "tour" down pat for my visitors. Just an amazing area with a little bit of everything...mountains, ocean, desert, heat, snow...you name it, you can find it within an hour's drive.

My free advice for you all:
Donnie Darko sequel? Don't bother. £25 to get the DVD, for this? Narr. Not impressed.

The trick is that you have to pull yourself away from all the food in SF to go out and see the natural wonders... Man. What a city to eat in.

Hopefully it'll be a reality in years to come! You'd recommend it then? What's local radio like there? Over here we generally have the big stations and BBC local ones. Is it like that there or lots of little stations?

I'll have to come and see you haha

oops I mean

Well, I'm in luck tomorrow. We're expecting cloudy weather out here so that should cool it down to about 108*.

iPod (2nd gen, dock connector) accessories

Hi y'all -

My 2nd gen. iPod died and has long-since gone away, but I just discovered that I still have all the accessories for it. This is also known as the "Dock Connector" iPod, and was the one that had the 4 touch buttons across the top. Firewire only IIRC, but some of the accessories might work on later units - I leave that for you to research. Anyway, I have all these goodies for it, could anybody use this stuff before I throw it out?

Included: cloth belt-clip, fibre bag, power adapter, firewire to iPod cable, dock, wired in-line remote control, and a Belkin Voice Recorder.

First person to PM me who can use the kit gets it. All I ask is that you please cover shipping.

Eric

Just to remind everybody that July 8th will have a very special second in it. For one second you can say it is 12:34:56 7/8/9

Be sure to have the family gathered around the clock and a beer ready!
