Love this thread. Good vibes all around. I'm currently not in a position to give out toys but I have some extra free time so, if anyone needs something soldered, guitar repaired, something like that, I would be more than happy to help!

This isn't much but then I really don't have much, I do voice over so I don't have as many toys....I have a midi cable that connects to a lynx one. I'm not sure if it's interchangeable or not. If anyone wants or needs it pm me. I'll look around..I might have something else.

Patchbays anyone? I have a Re'an RPM-32s 32 point 1/4" patchbay and also an ADC tt solder type patchbay up for grabs. The Re'an is in fantastic condition and the ADC has a bit of solder on a few pins but is clean and ready to wire.

How about a pair of AKG K240 headphones? Used maybe 5 times on a remote session and have been in storage for the past few years. Nothing but a bt of dust on 'em.

Only one item per person and the first one to PM for each wins. For shipping I'd really like to keep them in the US but we'll see what happens.

UPDATE: Headphones have been claimed

DP5

I have DP 5.13 disc that was given to me by a rep. I don't use that version any longer. Free to the first person that PM"S me with the name of the original bass player for Metallica. Sorry for trivia but thought I would change it up a bit. It is a $400 value

I'll take the C1!!

And I have a Tascam 388 for grabs. May need a little work but these things have a cult following. I didn't dig it for my style.

Might need some help on the shipping as this thing weighs about 75 pounds.

It's lovely for me to see so many people jump in and participate!

I keep getting PMs from folks all over the world and they all say essentially the same thing: "Hi RawBeanZen, I just gave something away and it feels so good!".

Nice job, everyone. Truly.

I knew there was hope for the human race, and you all just proved me right!

Hi Tommy,

I'm not a Buddhist but I'm certainly inspired by what I sense the Buddha emanated in his awakened state.

I have similar impressions about Christ, Lao Tzu, and Krishna.

They reminded us of our potential.

If I could send them all a Gearslutz T-Shirt you know I would!!!

Stylin'.

Smile Studio Projects VTB-1

This is so very cool of you Rawbeanzen, I couldn't agree more with you on the buddha thing. About the shirt; XL ain't exactly my size. btw I owe it to Jules to order one myself.

Anyway I looked around in the studio and it ain't much but I have a Studio Projects VTB-1 preamp I'm not using. Any dutch or euro sluts interested in this PM me, it's yours! As a rule; you have to have some positive posts on this board.

I was trying to keep this thread in the spirit of giving, and not just cross-bartering, so I was trying not to jump on any offers. (I'm just an audio newbie and starting to amass all of the gear and software I'll need on this journey, so I AM in the acquiring stage rather than that of giving away, but I am regularly employed at several live sound/production jobs and keep busy, so I'm hardly "needy". I get by and acquire the gear I need. (That, and student loan repayments don't start for another 6 months, so denial is bliss )).

However, I saw Terminal3 just desperately trying to give away Amplitube, and no one was taking it, so I decided to do him a HUGE favor and let him enjoy the spirit of giving by taking Amplitube off of his hands. Terminal3, you owe me...

Just kidding, of course! Thanks a bunch for the sweet software, man! I'll put it to use.

I AM still trying to give away some stuff of my own, and I know it's pretty bottom-of-the-barrel, but hey, it's FREE people! Come on, someone must need one of these first two items. And, I've upped the ante and actually added something more valuable this time. Check them out:

- Gameport to MIDI adapter

- Sony MDR-V250 headphones. Well-used, headband taped up, and inline volume control a bit flaky, but hey, they sound pretty good!

And the new item of slightly more value:

- Creative/E-mu XMIDI 2x2 2-in/2-out USB MIDI interface. Minty condition, comes with original box, USB cable, driver disk, and even leather pouch. Oooh la la! Now I KNOW someone can use this.

(I can part with this as I just got a sweet deal on a MOTU MTP AV from the audio school I just gradded from)

But yeah, sorry for the meager pickings - like I said, I'm just starting off and need more gear, not less...

Anyways, PM me.

And I must say, the generosity in this thread is astounding! I can't believe what some of you are giving away. Great job, people!

Amazing thread. Truly suprised me...when I saw the title I thought it would be presets or freebie plugins links ha

I'm just waiting untill I see something i'd make use of and then PM the poster......... then in return i've got a certain box of plugins il give away. There sealed in the original box. Any guesses?
