Nice of you. If you want to give that one to Skillz and you need one yourself let me know. Or I can send him a new one. Your call!

I messaged Kris earlier about the patchbay, let me get a PM back from him and I'll let you know. I'll probably let him have the one I'm getting and just let you bless some other gearhead.

Ok, guys. I will be sending the Visa gift card to Staffan. He can really use it.

Also, for the guys that wrote to me your wonderful stories, I can offer a few more things. After looking at things I don't use anymore, even though they are higher ticket items I rather see them go to someone who has fallen on rough times.

I will be selling my Digitech Whammy WH-1. This is the most sought after one that usually sells for insane prices on ebay, usually around $600. And I will use the money to buy some of you a few things you need. So PM me with requests. Please keep it simple like, "microphone, cowbell, guitar pedal, headphones, etc." instead of brand name items so I can stretch my dollar more between everyone that needs something.

BTW, skillz, I purchased a patchbay for you, pm me.

Also, RawBeanZen, look for something in the mail, in the coming weeks.

This has been a great idea hopefully we can inspire others to do the same. Last year after my grand mother died, I wrote and played on a classical raga cd which I sold to raise over $1500 for St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and donated everything in her name. I hope some of you won't take advantage of this and will inspire yourself and others to create music not just to make a profit, but to give something back.

Agreed.

WOW, do you live at the North Pole and have a crew of elves working for you? My man, you are beyond generous!! In case people here don't take that seriously, that pedal will fetch at least $600, if not closer to $800! No joke. And it's all being given away along w/ other goods.
That deserves a round of applause! (that's the closest thing we have to a hand clap so I'll throw in a too).

If that classical Raga music online? I'd love to hear it.

ok, I've just noticed anther unused licence on my ilok which someone can have

its digidesign synchronic

Digidesign | Products | Products | Synchronic

Digidesign Synchronic | Sweetwater.com

This is digi's loop slicing plugin. It should go to someone who works in Pro Tools, in a suitable music genre to actually use it.

I'll pay the ilok transfer

you'll need to promise to add something (anything) to the thread thumbsup

pm me

Hey!

If there is someone out there who would love to do a favor, in other words: get 2 items from the States and ship them to me, Finland EU. The 1st one is one silly power supply (16V AC, 1000mA, for Electrix fx unit. I have tried generic ones but they have resulted in buzzing sound etc. :( ) and the other one is 1u rack fx unit (Sony M7).

I know where to get these, the sellers are just not willing to ship abroad :(

PM me if you are interested in helping out, I'll make it up for you anyway I can. (Of course I'll pay all the expenses!)

-Tomi

p.s. I'm still looking for something to give away from my stashes, although it seems all of my stuff that I have found semi-useless have been given out somewhere as a long term loan.

.
Are you sure the power supply would be compatible with your voltage in finland? Is it multi voltage compatible?

also there are a few services that offer forwarding like this, eg: MyUSABox , I've never used them so I couldn't comment on how good they are

also, are you buying the items new? I may have another idea

hope that helps
narco

ps. I hope you didn't steal REM's guitar

This is the one I want, I just need to change the UK plug to schuko. Can't find any of these from the old continent :( I tried my filterqueen with generic laptop psu which was 16V AC 2500mA, but it made the Filterqueen buzz like hell.
Electrix Eqkiller/Filterqueen 230V Uk Powersupply*-* Replacement Power Supplies*-* Power Supplies & Extra Cords*-* Accessories*-* PSSL.com
So this would be new item, PSSL.COM doesn't even answer my emails :/ (tried several times/ways)

The M7 I'm wanting is from private seller (studio), don't know if it is still available but he has updated the sale list recently and the unit is still there.

I was at the REM concert btw (Thanks REM for playing such songs as Don't go back to Rockville, acoustic Let Me In, Cuyahoga etc.) After I heard what happened to Peter's Ric, I got a good reason to visit local pawn shops to check if there was anything of interest in there The guitar is returned btw! The whole incident caused a major stirr up in the musician scene in here!

ah, thats great the guitar is reutrned!

I spent a couple of days in Helsinki a couple of years ago, it was pretty much there that I fell in love with the woman that is now my wife, its a beautiful city, I hope to return one day

but I'm getting off the subject..

that makes it harder if it is a used item, although you should be able to find a retailer that would sell you the PSU and ship it. I would think sweetwater would do it for example. then again I'm sure someone on this thread will too..

I used to own the electrix, I used a generic PSU and it worked fine, perhaps you have a problem elsewhere?

When I needed a local PSU for my electro harmonix pedal the local retailer was able to order them even though it wasn't in the catalogue..

good luck

Ok my turn,,
I have this Apex 125 kick drum mic that is collecting dust but that is in pretty good shape. It's really not high-end but i'm sure it could be usefull to someone somewhere.

PM me if you are in need of a this kind of mic, maybe someone in canada/us would be cool since i'm in canada and I'll pay shipping.

Free Avenson Audio SmallDI

I think every studio need one of these SmallDI's:

So I'm going to give away 4 of them.
The trick is that I'm going to send all 4 to the person who I draw out of my PM's at the end of the day and that person is responsible for giving away the other 3.

2. STILL AVAILABLE A knock off (Samson i think?) SM58 with an on/off switch I used as a talk-back mic during the same era as the E2s. The grill has met the floor a couple of times, but the good news is that it doesn't smell like foot cheese yet

3.BEING FIXED BY BOWIE AND REGIFTED Sennheiser E604. This mic is NON-FUNCTIONING. I figured someone with a sense of gentle persuasion may be able to crack open the sealed chasis and pick up a great mic for a little sweat equity. One stipulation: I want to hear back from you as to the success (or lack) of your efforts. I still have 2 of these, and I'd like to know how to fix them when/if they break. (What a -poor design.) If nothing else, you've got yourself a decent drum mic mount!

I will cover shipping, just PM me with your request and what you will use it for and I will choose the recipiant.

Oh and by the way NO CUBS FANS!! My generosity can only go so far
So as the edited text in the quote states:

The E2's will go to dviola who has recently lost the drivers for his in-ear set-up and can't afford to replace them.

The Sennheiser has been agreed to be fixed by the gracious bowie, who vowed to fix and re-post here.

The often sought after knock off 58 (insert oh's and ah's here) is still available.

I'd like to see it go to someone soon, as I HATE THE POST OFFICE, and would like to bring all three items in one trip.

ON A SIDE NOTE

I am employed as a hearing instrument specialist in the south-eastern Wisconsin area. What does that mean?

Anyone in the area who has been interested in custom ear protection or custom molds for their in-ears, I will offer a deal to Gearslutz members only, to fit and sell a set to you at my cost. Please realize that there are people trying to make a living at selling these products so I will not disclose my cost of these products here, but only to those interested in the form of a PM. The deal is that you can not disclose the deal you received to anyonetutt. I will also offer to give you a free hearing test.
