I've worked with these folks through the local Blues in the Schools Program: LINKS (Lonely Instruments in Need of Kids)

OK, after a somewhat agonizing deliberation process in my mind over the past couple days, we have a winner.

Infernal Device, enjoy your 121!!!

And to the rest of you who entered, please know this was anything but easy to decide...

Cheers everyone,

RawBe

I feel like when I was a really little kid and I would watch sports just to see the celebration at the end. I didn't have a favorite and I wasn't rooting for anyone. I just watched because I couldn't wait to see who the winner was and watch how happy they were.

All on this forum,

RawBean,

Thank you. Even if I was not chosen, I consider you a special human.

We had a bit of a conversation about it. It comes down to the fact that it is not the "121", as much that it is a tangible item of my thoughts of recent.

In keeping with what I told myself I would do, I offer this to the board...

I have for free:

A microKorg, but no book. It is a $400.00 value. Tell me what you have to offer the board and it is yours.

Mix Books series book called "MICROPHONE TECHNIQUES" that I used many years ago to learn. I want to give it to someone who is learning. PM me.

I have "THE RECORDING ENGINEER'S HANDBOOK" for free.

I have an AMT electronics "Tweed Sound" guitar pedal for free.

About the 121, I offer anyone in the Pennsylvania area come use it for free at my studio. It is about the gathering and sharing, more so than the free use. We will have a lot of fun. Please take me up on the offer.

I swear to everyone that every client I ever speak with will know this story.

I offer my most humble and sincere gratitude in ways only RawBean and I know of. He knows this has made a change. A massive change in ways of thought that will effect many people. This is the greatest end to a very rough day.

Gentlemen, thank you.

thank you.

Jason

How cool.

Put it to good use hey?

Regarding the charity beneficiary...I personally like the orphanage because of it's history with this thread, but I vote that RBZ determines the recipient.

Take care, and good night all... I fully expect there to be three new pages when I check on this in the morning!thumbsup

Man, this thread is GREAT.

I would give something, but I have no gear to give. Might go dig tomorrow. I use what little I have, compared to what most have on here. Hopefully this year when I can finally find a job, I can move towards getting out of the box more. I was thankful to get my Virus and 002R before losing my job.

Congrats to who got the Royer, that's awesome.

What an amazing couple of days we've had here! There's been so much given and so many good vibes shared that it's hard to take it all in.

Most of us get so caught up in the rat race that we lose track of what we really believe in. When a fellow reaches the end of the road and finally lifts his head up to look back at what he's accomplished, well.... you know where I'm going with this. I'm really thankful to have a congregation of fine folks here who help remind me of what it's all about.
Much love.
