1) You must use it for something other than consuming alcohol, smokes, fast food, or lap dances. (yeah the last one is harsh)

2) You must do someone here a favor, whether it's donating time to help them be creative or just making them laugh and brightening their day with wisdom and advice.

olivia_nb and RawBeanZen, you two have set a great example and I want to thank you both. I would like to donate $25 each to St. Jude's Childrens hospital in your names. Please pm me.

Edit: I would really like this to go to someone that hasn't recieved anything yet. But I will consider all posts and let everyone know who it goes it in a few days.
I think this got lost in the massive thread, I've only recieved about a half donzen pm's, so I'm bumping myself. Thanks everyone so far for your touching pm's. I will be making my descions by tommorow. Feel free to nominate someone also.

Audio-Technica 4033!

OK, I just found an old AT4033.

This was my first ever decent mic. It changed my life at the time.

A little beat up, but works fine. No shockmount...that thing fell apart long ago.

Need it?

If you haven't won anything yet on this thread and have something you're prepared to gift forth to others, PM me.

One thing: You have to tell me a joke. The one that makes me laugh the hardest wins the mic.

EDIT: OK, this one has finished.

(What a dfegad-poor design.) If nothing else, you've got yourself a decent drum mic mount!
I would like to fix the mic and give it to someone here who could really use it.

Pm me and let me know why you need it. May the best slut win! If you're outside of Denmark I'd expect you to pay for shipping.

Taturana won the jv-1080, and he promised to give stuff away.

Congratulations to him!

Might need some help on the shipping as this thing weighs about 75 pounds.
I'd be psyched for the Tascam and be happy to pay shipping. Let me see what I can dig up for others.

Thanks dude!

For my offer to the community, goes a limited edition bass-playing artsy figurine dude. It was given as a gift, and I already have another, so why keep two?

My wife is going to be very happy about it... as she loves playing keyboards but cant handle operating my studio's computer... and now she can jam with us in my bluesband... and i'll sure enjoy it a lot too... thanks...

now looking for more stuff to give...

the cool part is how it does give GS a sense of community and is getting people closer than ever, even those who are really far apart... great thread , should be a sticky...

Thats cool, I try to get my girl to always jam with me or learn an instrument like guitar or bass. But she doesn't want to cut her nails! She plays flute and clairnet, how fun is that? Not much.

If you can't fit a clarinet in with guys playing regular rock instruments then you're not trying hard enough.

RawBeanZen, the person who started this thread kindly asked me if I would put up one of my photos in the thread. I'm happy to oblige. Here is a photo taken in a pumpkin patch basically in my backyard. I thought it was appropriate since Fall just started here and it is my favorite season of all. I hope you enjoy this photo and it makes you feel good like this season makes me feel!

Cheers,

bc
