That's some weather you've got there! Yard looks beautiful though.

Good to see you back! I guess there are a lot of us old-school Free-Stuffers who are coming back after having been away for a while.

Thanks. I mowed for about three hours before it started.

funny, but this was one of the first dialogs i had in the tribe, the Pahi (chief) asked me if i ate meat... and i said i basically eat anything... but then i thought about where i was and added... "almost" anything...
i wouldn't recommend eating a taturana caterpillar though... it could be very painful as they are very poisonous... it probably tastes like fire... (tata = Fire in Tupy language -rana = Like)
Nice that you liked it Scattamah, that's pretty much what they are: a laughing tribe.... really cool people... i am planning to go back there many times... jut spending a few days with them left me very happy...
here are some more photos from the Krahô tribe from my friend Salete Hallack, our main photographer on the expedition.... great photographer, great sensitivity...
Wow, so good to see so many faces in here lately! Thank you for sharing Taturana. Really enjoyed that. And thanks to RBZ for sharing as well... Caught that too. Was good to see.
This is what I got up to today. It's not finished but I'm at a 'stucking' point... My eyes are too tired to finish it...
Hi good people ! It's give away time, isn't it ???
So… here is the mic ! :
This mic has been given to me by Sir RawBeanZen himself, and it's now time for it to find a real good new home (one of a kind that will really keep the givin' spirit goin' on, see ?), so… if you want it, here is the game :
a - Post here the exact model of this mic…
b - Tell us what were the 2 "ancesters" of this mic and the difference between these two ancesters…
No PM, only posts.
All the good answers will be "drawn from the hat" within 10 days…

I echo that sentiment Mon Colonel!
I have up for recirculation two books, one of which came from this thread! They are: Acoustic Design for the Home Studio by Mitch Gallagher
and
Modern Recording Techniques 4th ed by Huber & Runstein
Let's say the winner of the above mic gets these to ensure it gets put to good use

First mixes not enough guitar (sound fine on monitors, not so much on consumer shtuff). Next go round, vocals sound muffled (hope it ain't the Lex), but I'm closin' in on it. Next gig is in three weeks, be nice to have a new record to hawk.
Left arm just ain't right. Gonna have to revisit the medicine man--carpal tunnel can't be all this.
