Holy Mackerel, apparently the 10 emoticon limit has been lifted!

Things could get crazy.

Have fun w/ your emo's. Len, heal hard. Greetings 2yall and 22yall from the holy land (the place of the holy lamb, with the seven horns and eyes, slaughtering himself... strange religion you've got there).

I want to tell you something. But I need people who are so familiar with music, it is part of their personality, and maybe even of their family. People who, for them, art comes just after loved ones and friends.

I am sorry if by any way (lamb part?) I hurt anyone. I was not aiming at that.

Big thanks to jeremy.c.!

my UAD-1 card arrived yesterday and installed it today. there were some issues in the installation, for some reason my case didn't quite have enough space for the card to sit in with the metal bit sticking out so i got gritty and chopped it

after that card slots in nicely and everything is installed smoothly...

thanks again jeremy, looking forward to playing with this. one question though, is there a way to not have the unavailable plugins show up in your DAW plugin list?

Yep... last night totally smoked. Great room, great crowd, great room, and totally killer sound provided by Jacob, who joined us on this thread for a while a couple of years back and somehow managed to recognize me. We threw down, and then spent the next few hours roaming the four venues hosting the fest and sitting in with other bands.

And, thanks to everybody who put their hat into the ring for the EV PL84s. It wasn't an easy choice, but it will go to KIERKES!!!! PM me your address, Sir!

Go to your VST folder and just delete (or move or rename) all the .vst's you don't have.

I think Quadwing got so embarrassed by your surprise party, that he... Actually, I've no idea how to end this.

NO, THIS IS NOT A CREATIVITY GIVEAWAY. You can apply your ending in this forum and... K, "something is wrong with me inherently".

That's really good, kat, but it looks disturbingly like the 250 pound Duroc that trampled me back when I worked on the farm. Only thing that saved me from getting shredded was the fact that it was cold as hell and I had lots of clothes on.

Happy b-day, Quad, wherever you are.

Very nice. I can't see a problem with this drawing. But what do I know? I mean, besides how to cut myself when shaving.

Nother... work in progress. Wish I could find a proper blending brush on this thing. Seems the one control these cutsie programs lack. But I recall having one somewhere... I'll have to stop diddling around long enough to hunt...

Are you doing this on a computer? I'm a bit confoozed...

Whatever the process, it looks good.

Snowstorm coming--tomorrow's evening commute is gonna suck.

Let new explain. There are applications dedicated for imagery, and they provide you with certain editing tools (think of Photoshop). Two of these tools are pencil and eraser. That's what Vixen's using.

But how? There are certain 'pads' that connect to your computer, and are used with a stylus. They are commonly used to sketch or draw directly into the program.

That's, of course, only my own bet.

Which brings me to skillz. I've a few questions, may I ask them?

1. Do I know you? 2. Were you in this forum? 3. Why thanks? 4. Are you Quad?

Since I'm such a bother around here, wishing to be like a brother, I open my FIRST GIVEAWAY!

Sorry to tell you that since I'm trying to get my first rack, I've no material to give. Instead, some of by time will be given. It's practically worthless, but I'll try.

Using the ipad Scattamah got me for Christmas and my new 4 day old nomad brush that's already starting to disintegrate... Think I'm a tad heavy handed with the writing implement... It's just not going to hold up to 8 hours use every day...

We're supposed to get more snow here too. It's cold enough to drop more but the clouds are still holding onto it.

AND...

Still fighting the flu or bug or whatever it is I caught this winter. So while I'm down... need to be productive... .... pad is all nice n charged, getting settled in my chair with hot tea an' a blanky... oh maybe even get some sewing that needs mending... lots yet to do!

Hoopoes and Oreos to all!

Pretty eyes, pirate smile, you'll marry a music man.
