Adding logic plugins

When ever I try to add a plugin that i download like if its a free demo or free software it doesnt show up in logic express.
heres what i do.
once i get the download i put in into the contents of my audio plugin folder.
Then i open up logic and it is never in there. Please help me fix this.

you have to put it in the component folder!!

Mac HD-->Library-->Plug Ins-->Components

Put an Alias of the Component Folder into the left side bar off your finder.
So you can always drop components in there and they will show up in Logic after the next restart off Logic.

Have fun with Logic and upgrade as fast as you can to Logic Pro 8 it is much more intuitive and for logic newbies very easy to handle.
