Nothing on Ebay

Hey there....

I routinely troll ebay for things that look interesting. Recently it's been really weird. There's almost nothing for sale there. If you look up MCI, Trident, Neve, Telefunken, Seimens, Chameleon Labs, etc.....There's either NOTHING for sale, or just 2 or 3 items. Usually there's pages of them. It's always been under the broad category of "Musical Intstruments". Have they started a new category that I haven't found yet where these auctions now happen? Or is it just that not many people have stuff for sale? Or has every single piece of gear cycled through ebay 10 times over by now so there's just nothing left to sell? This isn't an issue that has burning impact on the planet, it just seemed odd.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. Maybe because they raised the fees, people are flocking to craigslist?

They moved the gear to "Electronics".

AHHHHHH!! THAT 'splains it. I missed that memo. The only trouble is, if you do certain searches such as, :"Speck", you now have to wade through 12 pages of Ipod cases. Oh well....

I think there is still Pro Audio sub-division in electronics. It's a pain though. All my bookmarks are worthless!

A bunch of eBay auctions went missing. I guarantee you there's not only 60,000 auctions for "Guitar". There's typically about that much for effects and cables alone.
