I listened to the demo cd and it doesn't have the clipping that the cd have.

I don't know, I think it sounds like they're trying too hard to be old-school Metallica. The album is boring and unimaginative, and it lacks the well-constructed, carefully thought out lyrical and musical content that they used to be so good at. Great for them to try and get back to their roots, but it sounds like a garage band version of Metallica recording in a garage and keeping the first takes. Still, that's just my opinion on the album. Obviously it's important to Metallica, so I say let 'em play. |
