| Gear Head | Need help with setting up a Radar II I have a Radar II and a MOTU 2408 MK3... and am having a hell of a time setting this up-- the MOTU seems very cheap in quality to me. The breakout box is frustrating me to no end. My question is: Do you guys know of another interface that uses TDIF ins..? I have an old soundscape mixtreme that I have considered trying, but I think the connections won't work together (I have read that the soundscape mixtreme 192 uses propriety connections). Thanks for any and all help!

| TDIF is not the most stable platform. According to Tascam there are three separate protocols of TDIF. DA-88, DA-98 and DA-38. Each one works in a different way depending on which revision you have of the MOTU box. Eventually I got off of TDIF and moved over the AES. Easier standard. Easier connection.
