Has anyone noticed a difference since tascam bought Giga?

Are they sitting on it or actively developing it?

If not, do you think the giga format could become the next format winner (such as AKAI is at present) regardless of platform?

What do you think is happening with Giga? Is it dead?

Don't know much about it from personal experience but have read many posts from Lee Blaske saying that Tascam are basically "sitting on it"..
Giga is a pretty major format these days but it's hard to predict who will 'win'.
Maybe, as Lee's also said, the plug-in sample CD concept like 'Stylus' and 'Trilogy' will win.
