Hello, A little while ago I upped from the sticks, rented a little studio space and opened a recording studio in London. I started producing a band ( which I later joined ) and we gotlucky/areverygood so now I'm looking to move. Looking for anything between 1800 and 3000 square feet preferably over a couple of floors. a studio on bottom, space for 4 people to live above (can do any converting myself) Thing is I can't find ANYWHERE. Does anybody here know of any companies that specialise in finding these sort of buildings? Preferebly in north or east London? Any help much appreciated, Cheers. |

One of the better places to look is: Find A Property - Commercial Be prepared to pay at least £20-£30 a sq/ft PLUS business rates. EVERYONE forgets to add business rates and they're generally not included in the prices you see. Check Hackney/East London direction, maybe? Or maybe try: MJQ And if you want to buy? It's a good thing your "verylucky/areverygood" because your going to need it.... Good luck, R.

are u getting rid of the old place then?... where?.. how much, details? (if it's going to be available) good luck with that search tho - the problem with london nowadays is, if even a kingsized box of matches becomes free, someone buys it & converts it into yuppie apartments |

Thanks for the help fellas. It IS annoy ing to see the perfect building, phone up the number on the side only to be told it's being converted into offices, despite the office building next door being half empty. The search goes on... |
