Thread Starter | BBE Sonic Maximizer on Bass
Just a thought. Has anyone tried to use a sonic maximizer on a miced bass cabinet track? I was thinking since it corrects the timing between the high mid and lows you would be able to get it in better phase with a DI track. I'm bored from soldering all morning can't you tell. haha

Yes, I've done it. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. I don't use mine for recordings, never really did. It lives in my guitar rig. Sometimes I flip that thing on, and it kicks ass. Sometimes... not so much. I seem to really like it when I'm beating the shit out of a guitar.. with a REALLY clean tone. When I'm really digging into the strings. I use an Ampeg Gemini for most guitar parts.. which is a bass amp, and it's cool sometimes. Give it a shot. I use an Aural Exciter sometimes too. |
