| Freelance recording engineers in Belgium: some advice? Hi. Like so many people in this fine forum I would like to build up a career as recording engineer. Luckily, I now have some opportunities to do some freelancing jobs in Belgium, but since I am still quite new to the business side of things, I would like to have some advice from fellow Belgian freelance engineers. - What's the normal going rate for a starting engineer? - Do you charge by the hour? day? project? - How do you handle contracts? - Are there any other pitfalls I should look out for? Many thanks for your advice... B-) ![]() |
