| Gear interested | MBOX and 164 latency
Hi everyone. Hope this question isn't too ridiculous. I read something about since MBOX uses a USB cable, the transfer time from the box to the computer is 164. So I have to go to my setup box (I think it said that), and type in "164" to bring the track back that amount. Is this true? Do I have to do this after every track I record if I have imported the beds from a different computer? I'm not clear on this. Can anyone help? Thanks for your time! |

First of all.....Listen! Second if things sound late(or look late if you cant hear) then move them..... Thats the beauty (curse) of protools......infinitly variable manipulation of time.....still goes back to the first rule..Listen!!Consider this: If it feels good it is good regardless if it is off of the grid......Good luck Cheers |
