Help with the Fireface 800

I have some stuff playing on my computer, samples from a internet site that stream. I am trying to record these and save to mp3. Any way to route my cpu's audio to a track in cubase or something similiar? i know the headphones are 9/10 but i dont see it in the vst connections! im new to hardware and general and the totalmix software is very powerfull isee, but intimidating fo rme at the same time

any help would rock, thanks!

use spdf out as destination for windows audio, spdf out to spdf in, record in daw off of spdf in.

or

use the loopback function (near end of manual in the Totalmix section.)

In the Fireface Mixer app, if you control-click on the white "name" tabs below outputs 9/10 (third row of faders), they'll turn red and be routed internally to inputs 9/10 - record those inputs in your app. This works to loop back any output to its corresponding input.
