The Drum Sample Thread

It just seems like it would make sense if there was a thread where people posted up drum samples (Kick, Snare, Toms, Etc). I think everyone would benefit from it. Post up samples you've collected or created yourself. Hopefully we can keep the quality at AIFF. I'm on my laptop right now, but later I'll try to post some.

Hmmmmm....

That leaves alot of copyright issues. As much as I would like to come here and download tons of drum samples I think a question of authorship would be a problem.

As someone who just benifitted from fellow sluts generosity with a few timely samples I'd like to see a way of making this thread work. How about the following 2 rules -

1 - No commercial samples to be posted, only samples created by the poster
2 - by posting a sample the poster is giving permission for any and all use buy the public

suggestion?
cheers,
Ruairi

Sounds like a good idea. Plus when you use a drum sample as augmentation it will sound differently for everybody depending how they mix it in with their original drum sound.
