If you are referring to the ones sold by RealTraps, the company, then, I believe, to the best of my knowledge, they are only sold by the company and are not sold through a distribution chain (except if you are outside the U.S.). Thus, your only bet for getting them cheaper is if you find them used.

thanks guys, im really looking into the room kit with the 8 MiniTraps for bass trapping, and 3 MicroTraps for mid/high frequency absorption

i think its better than going the auralex route, which i hear is mediocre at best.

Eh, I guess I learn something everyday. Thanks zimv. Although it appears that Atlas is more expensive than just buying direct.

As for Auralex, yeah, you are better off staying away from that stuff and going the Realtrap route.

Brian,

> actually the retail price is pretty killer <

Thanks. A lot of folks don't realize that it's much more work for us to sell direct. The only reason we do that is as a service to our customers, to keep the prices as low as possible. If we sold through retail stores the prices would be literally double. We do occasionally sell through a dealer, and Nathan at Atlas Pro Audio is a great guy and as ethical as they come. However, the vast majority of our sales are direct, and the prices are no higher than through a dealer.
