Drums to grid in PT LE / Nuendo

Hi,

I use a Nuendo rig in my studio, and sometimes, I need to quantize drums up to a grid (DONT FLAME ME!!I dont usually!).

anyway, has anyone found a quick way of doing it ? at the moment, in nuendo, i am going through the whole thign, selecting all the tracks and just doing a cut at every beat. is there any quicker way ive missed of going through the track? like is there a tab to transient keyboard shortcut i havent noticed?

im going to get an Mbox, just because i need somethign portable to just use for my laptop , purely for rough stuff. im thinking mbox because ive never used pro tools, and would like to learn some of the interface. is there any shortcuts or quick ways i could be cutting up these drums using PT LE? i know there is a tab to transient shortcut here..does it work with say a kick AND a snare track at once?basically, is there an easy way to push some drums into time with PTLE.

any help would be great.i know the questions are jumbled. sorry!
and ive been asked to put these drums into time. i havent recorded them. just incase anyone starts flaming!

cheers guys:-)

It is "relatively" easy to 'push' the drums closer in time with LE, it just takes for phucking ever. (Until you get the flow of it anyway..)
I dont know if it's Digi's idea of a joke, or a marketing ploy, but adding Beat Detective LE (which to my understanding can only work on ONE track at a time) almost defeats the purpose of using it.

Unless someone who has used it can tell me different, i.e it IS in fact possible to use the same trigger points generated off say, the kick track, and use them to cut the rest of the drum tracks into regions etc..?

If not, i can't see how BD LE would be useful.

So in summery,

This post was a waste of time.

P.s I have edited drum tracks for many songs by hand in PT LE, making effective use of keyboard shortcuts and different group combos speeds this up dramatically. After a while, i could edit a whole song in 2-3hours. It sometimes takes me that or longer WITH BD.

P.p.s Yes, Tab to transient will work on the kick and the snare at the same time..
Just highlight both tracks with the curser before you start pressing the TAB button. thumbsup
