| Well I should hope not. The Royer costs more than 10 times what the B&O did in its day, so even allowing for inflation the Royer is much more expensive and therefor should sound a whole lot better. |

| Lives for gear | Haven't the B&O microphones been out of production for a few decades? I don't think Royer ever said anything but their design was based on the B&O mics. Why is this news? It's a great design, and nobody was producing them, so why not? This is the age of recreations and copies. ![]()
