Weak signal out of Digi 001?

I'm getting weak and thin signal out of my Digi 001 to my Amek. I just got the desk. I'm using the 1/4 in. trs outs 1 and 2 of the Digi 001 to the xlr inputs Ch. 1 and 2 on the Amek. When I monitor off of the 001 it sounds great. When I monitor off of the board it sounds like POOP. I'm stumped, could be that my that the hot pins on the board are opposite the hot pins of the 001?

definitely check the wiring, and your cables, sometime you can have a TS hook to a mic cable with an XLR in the other end. and in the manuals, what kind of level works for both..line,etc...+4,-10...good luck.
