User tips & new tricks with the new look forum

This thread isn't for complaints!

It's to share new features of the new upgraded forum.

1) in the private messaging part of the user CP (control panel) the "quick links" button at the top has the 'buddie list' in its drop down menue.

2) investigate that quick links - in DIFFERENT places of the forum, posting, in a thread, viewing the forum list - it probably does different quick links in all the different places... worth a look!

3) For registered users, under the welcome message there is notice of any unread private messages.

4) We might get rid of the posting rules box at the bottom, it takes up too much space, but for the meantime, you can collapse it by clicking on the arrows on its top right corner....

There are a lot of new features, I dont know them all, please list the ones you like here so other folks can enjoy them too..
