Hey John,

I´m not quite sure what you mean, but if you try to literally record your mix to two audio tracks the only way to go is to plug the output you´re mixing to back into an input on your audio hardware and record those inputs to an audio track.
You can´t selects bus objects as inputs on Logic (unless you are on digidesign TDM hardware).

The most common way to make mixes however is to output all your audio tracks to e.g. output 1-2 and then bounce your mix from outputs 1-2 to your harddisk. The bounce button is located on the Output-Fader 1-2. If you can´t see the output fader you need to create one within Logic´s environment.

If you're talking about just 'mixing in the box' with tracks that already exist as audio within Logic (ie. no midi), then...

1) make sure all the tracks are assigned either to the same outputs (probably "Main L/R" or "1/2") OR

2) assign all your tracks to submix busses, and make sure all of those busses are assigned to the same stereo output

3) at the bottom of the main output audio object, click the 'bounce' button (next to the stereo/mono button).

A requestor should ask you for the format of the file, name, where you want to save it, start and stop bars, and options for dithering. Make your choices and hit BOUNCE.

That should be it. Logic 6 and 7 offer non-realtime bounce. Logic 7 allows bouncing to several different formats simultaneously.

Hope that answers your question.http://gearslutz.com/board/newreply....te=1&p=284618#
