Its not "true" stereo, but you can bus (mult) it to two different tracks, and pan them each Left and Right.

What DAW are you using? make sure its set up for a stereo input.

If it is playing back stereo tracks in mono, your mono button is on.

If you're only recording one mix, you've got a mono audio signal.

So just route it to your mix buss, and use the channel pan to place it in the stereo field.

If you want a stereo signal, you need to process it somehow. Try adding reverb, chorus or delays.

Your manual for the software should explain how to do these things with your particular software.

I've probably been at this stuff for 6 years now. 3 of those years, I never understood mono vs stereo. I knew that stereo is 2 channel, and mono is one, but I still didn't get it.

There is nothing wrong with mono.

no there is nothing wrong with it, but my bandmate needs my tracks recorded in stereo for his own mixing/editing purposes.

i think i routed the problem to my Alesis QuadraVerb GT. I could never get stereo out of that, but the guy I bought it from could, i will tlak with him, but still share all your thoughts please.

Hey don't knock it, most 7" singles up to about 1968 were made in mono.

Are you saying it is only coming out of 1 speaker/headphone eg left only or right only?

You vocal is always gonna be recorded as mono unless you are recording yourself with 2 mics going to 2 separate channels.

Is there a mono button on the mixer output?
