I've got a couple of the Demeter Silent Speaker Chambers (SSC-1) with 12" Vintage 30. I didn't think they isolated enough so I covered all the insides with heavy Bitumen plates and lambs wool.
My opinion is that the concept of smaller isolation chambers (like the SSC-1) has some flaws due to the laws of physics. The combination of lack of air (space) and early reflections (and some kind of comb filtering) makes it hard to avoid a certain boxy sound. This can be compensated for, to some degree, by using effects like reverb and delay. But for dry sound it's far from ideal. Just opening the door on the SSC-1 a little gives a much more airy natural sound, but misses of course the point of total attenuation of the volume.
