Which band would that be? The original members, the multiple replacements or the yet to be hired live crew for the next tour? The band's name may be intact, but the band is not. How does that work?

this band is a damned joke to most people out there, which is why it isn't going to sell for shit(not to mention you can only get it at best buy...and let's fact it, a lot of us don't live anywhere near one). if i want to buy a guns n' roses record, it needs to be a ****in' guns n' roses record - not just axl and some other dudes that he hasn't fired yet. last time i checked, axl wasn't one of the original, ORIGINAL members of GnR, and i honestly don't even know why he's been able to keep using that name.

in short, the albums sucks, and while it'll make a few bucks, it'll never live up to its "reputation" because it simply isn't that good

Did you see a concert during the 2006 tour? i saw two and they kicked some ******* ass... and that line up is still there except maybe for one of the drummers hes kinda busy buying drums

I fully expected to hate this record.

I liked Appetite, thought Use Your Illusions was over blown, and somehwre in the back of my black heart wanted this one to be a huge failure.

After a few listens, (which I never made it all the way through), I have to admit that there were moments on this release which I found pretty good.

The over the top wah guitar shredding is dated and simply distracting. There are some decent songs buried underneath the production.

Plus, the way I hear the production, it sounds like it was recorded, mixed, and finished, then added elements were thrown on top to make it sound more current. Reason, some "fashionable" elements seem to pop out much more than the bed tracks.

Overall, not the train wreck I expected. But I know that it will not be one of those cd's that I will reach into my drawer and pull out for a listen 6 months from now.

it's a solo project & not a "band".

So far the best thing that this album's brought is the free can of Dr. Pepper....

I listened to the record on MP3's on Myspace. It was better than I expected and some of the songs aren't bad. I thought I might even buy the CD, but none of the songs stuck in my head enough to even really desire hearing again.

I just thought Axl's role as the Rock N Roll Howard Hughes was fitting considering the whirlwind of CD. I guess anthropophobia isn't a laughing matter after all.

Even more "fitting", Lars and Axl using some poor groupie as a finger-cuff. Isn't the word "slutz" in the title of the forum?
