| Rocktron Piranha. Any opinions? I'm picking up a Rocktron Piranha. From what I've heard it's a killer pre. But what's your take? And are the speakersim out as hummy as they say? Not that I don't love my UniValve - but a metalizer it's not. I guess the combination would be interesting...

| Lives for gear | I never heard the speaker simulator in the Piranha, but I have used it on a record a few months ago. Well, compared to the JMP-1 and the V-Twin Rack, I must say the Piranha is the "Metalic" one .I don´t know if you´ll understand but to me it sounds like the Piranha has the fastest grain distortion the V-Twin has the slowest grain distortion, and the JMP-1 is somewhere in btw.I don´t know if it helped a lot... but, I tried Peace! |
