Thread Starter | Melodyne Uno, when?
Anybody know when Melodyne Uno is coming out? Will it be more like a plug-in this time around? |

I hope they will improve the sound quality of it. After the audio has been analysed, it makes it sound like an mp3. Even without any processing! Too bad cause I like melodyne's interface better compared to autotune. |

I thought they fixed their sound problem in version2. Early April is the last i heard. Will i regret buying Cre8 now , that allows you to work on 8 tracks at once (great for bv stacks) for £200? ........hmmmmmmmmm If uno works more like a plugin it isn't rearly limited to one channel as implied.

The version which I have tried was 2.6 so if they have improved the sound then I don't want to hear the old version |

I apologise .... Melodyne probably uses 24 Kbps ... thinking it actually conforms to 24 bit audio . Someone tell their programmers this is not the case.

stay away from melodyne if you know what's good for you. i wasted 3 days with that program trying to create vocal harmony stacks only to be truly dissapointed with the sound quality. they did give me my money back when i wrote them saying their software was unusable for me. so cheers to that! other wise, it woulda been $600 down the drain...

I started a thread on another forum to ask if anyone had used Melodyne and whether the audio quality was good. I mentioned that many here felt the audio quality was not good, and those who used it there were surprised, since they felt it was very good. I'm confused because of such conflicting reports. Hasn't anyone here gotten good results with it?
