| Help with OTB upgrade... I'm currently using a Tascam m3500 for OTB mixing, and can get better mixes than ITB, but am not thrilled with the EQ, and would like a cleaner/ bigger sound. I need 8 channels, would like 16. I have good outboard pre's, so they don't matter to me. I do want faders. Some options I'm considering are: Neve 8816 w/ faders, sounds great from sound samples I have heard, and it's what I would like sonically, but can't afford right now. Would use ITB EQ. Trident s100 great in terms of features. (would it be a sonic upgrade? I know a lot of people don't like trident/ oram around here...) A&H Mizwizard. Any comments or other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! |
