Ok this actually looks very cool:

Markertek's Video of the Week - ConvertCon & PowerCon from Neutrik USA

Is anyone going to use this?

Very cool. I'm amused that this thread sank like a stone while everything about the ridiculous "bling XLR" they just put out has caused quite a stir. People seem to just want something to hate sometimes.

I had no idea it was pronounced "noy-trick". I'd been saying "new-trick". I did the same thing with Neumann.

That is AMAZING. I wonder what they cost per connector. I'm guessing upwards of $13 or so, if not more. I would love to have even 5 cables like that.

Thank you innovation!

Hopefully Leviton will make power cables like that.

just kidding. I have seen my fair share of stupid power cables some people/companies have.

I'm expecting 8 of them tomorrow from thomann.de where they cost about 7-8 EUR IIRC (can't be bothered to check right now). I can get back with a first hand report later.

More moving parts equals less reliability. I'm a curmudgeon. Cool idea though.
