| Crowley & Tripp Naked Eye or AEA R92 Hi! Regarding the above mics, what would more appropriate as an "all round" kinda mic? I'm looking for something I can use with guitar cabs, vocals, percussion etc. I'll be using API 512C preamps in my little project studio... The prices of these two are extremely close, so which one would win your vote? Thanks! |

| The Naked Eye clowned the other mics in those samples. I hear a hell of a lot more clarity and articulation in the mids, more pleasant high end, and much more balanced and clear low end.
