sonar 3

So who else uses SONAR v. 3 or 4, for tracking and mixdown?
I'm just curious, because i use it (and have since cakewalk 6)100% stable on my system these days...50 tracks, 12 busses, at least 40 plugs running and no problems at 50% CPU ....yet it seems everyone i know is running PT or Cubase. Just weirded out and curious

Re: sonar 3

NoId,

Count me as another very satisfied user of Sonar 4 Producer. If you're looking for others who use and love Sonar, go to the forum at cakewalk.com. Here's a direct link:

I used sonar 3 producer for a while.

Then i got cubase and i like it a thousand times better. I just find it easier to use and navigate i guess.

Sonar 4 Producer used here. There are some elegant editing things PT does better but soundwise and for midi, I think Sonar keeps up.

i haved sonar...4. but only use it for doing midi in staff mode. never cared much for the way it handes audio..protools just handels it better..do sometimes import audio from musicians using cakewalk and sonar usually wind up redoing it..why i don't know just sounds shallow,
