Hi! Can someone suggest me the best (battery or linear) kind of power supply for my Apogee MiniDac to replace the (IMHO cheap) switching stock unit? Thanks! |

Gerardo, Keep in mind that the Mini-DAC uses Apogee's very advanced and highly efficient internal synchronous switching power supply. The external unit is just to send power into the box. |

Max, thank you for your answer. Are you meaning that the external power supply is absolutely ininfluent from a sonic point of wiew? I'm asking this because I tried a 12 V battery pack and the sound seemed to me quite improved.... Auto-suggestion? Thanks again. |
